1. Former grounds of St. Vincent Charity Health Center
After extensive evaluation of the St. Vincent Charity Medical Center facilities, it was determined that, because of the high maintenance costs of the aging facilities, an adaptive reuse was not financially feasible or sustainable. That led to the demolition of several buildings in 2025, creating a 7-acre campus for new opportunities to address the social drivers of community health.
2. Neighborhood Family Practice (NFP)
The mission of Neighborhood Family Practice (NFP) is to build healthy communities by providing trusted, high-value health care for all. Since becoming a federally qualified health center in 2000, NFP has steadily expanded to meet the evolving needs of the community with multiple locations. NFP accepts Medicaid, Medicare, most commercial insurance plans and offers a financial assistance program (sliding fee discount) for the uninsured.
3. Rosary Hall, Detox Unit operated by The Centers
Rosary Hall has been at the forefront of treating alcoholism and drug dependency for more than 70 years. This commitment continues with inpatient detoxification in partnership with The Centers, coupled with community-based rehabilitation and the latest medication-assisted treatments.

4. Women’s Religious Archive Collaborative (WRAC)
The Women Religious Archives Collaborative (WRAC) is a nonprofit organization based in Cleveland with a mission to preserve the legacy of women religious in the United States. The WRAC Heritage Center documents the history of Catholic sisters. Once the $22 million facility is completed in spring 2027, it will be one of four collaborative repositories in the country that will hold the archives of Catholic sisters. It can accommodate the archives of up to 75 congregations and will serve as a place of study and celebration.
5. Statue of Mary
At the entrance of the parking lot is the statue of Mary, lovingly watching over all who enter. Mary is important to our Catholic institution because she embodies compassion, holistic care, spiritual strength, obedience to God’s will and unwavering commitment to human dignity. Her maternal care is seen as a symbol of tenderness, humility and charity, which inspires the work of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine and our ministries serving those in need.
6. Statue of Joseph
At the corner of Community College Avenue and E. 22nd Street (Sr. Ignatia Gavin Way) is the statue of St. Joseph, facing northwest, serving as the protector of all. Joseph is a model of selfless service—someone who works not for recognition, but to fulfill God’s will and care for others. He represents integrity, hard work, protection, obedience to God's will and quiet but powerful leadership. Like Mary, his patronage inspires the core values that shape our ministries.
7. Statue of St. Vincent
On the Community College Avenue side is the Statue of St. Vincent de Paul, an intercessor for those seeking help at the St. Vincent Charity Health & Healing Hub. St. Vincent de Paul is one of the most important figures in Catholic ministries because he is considered the patron saint of charitable works. His life, mission and legacy deeply influence how Catholic ministries understand and practice service to the poor, sick and marginalized. The Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine recognize and honor his feast day every year (September 27).
8. Sisters of Charity Health System Building
Part of the St. Vincent Charity Health & Healing Hub includes the Sisters of charity Health System headquarters building, which houses Rosary Hall outpatient treatment and other health care services, including:

9. Goodwill Opportunity Center (future home)
Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio, Inc. will build a Goodwill Opportunity Center on the Health & Healing Hub campus, expected to open in 2028. Key services will address critical neighborhood needs, including employment and career services as well as additional health and social services. The specific services to be offered will be shaped through ongoing conversations with community members, partners and stakeholders to ensure they align with local needs and priorities.
10. Goodwill-operated grocery store (locations under consideration)
In conjunction with the Goodwill Opportunity Center, Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio, Inc. will build a full-service neighborhood grocery store to offer access to fresh fruits, vegetables, meats and more. The overall concept is to provide a high-engagement, full-service grocery store that caters to neighborhood needs.
11. The Boler Family Memorial Garden
Nursing has been a hallmark of St. Vincent Charity since the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine opened the hospital on October 10, 1865. In 1934, the school of nursing opened a new residence and teaching facility along East 24th Street. Today, the site is marked by the Boler Family Memorial Garden, which is framed by the archway that once greeted nurses at the school’s entrance. The garden was dedicated in 2011 and honors alumni from the school.

13. Marion-Sterling School (K–8)
Located in Cleveland’s Central neighborhood, Marion-Sterling is a leadership-based PreK-8 school focused on empowering every scholar to become a leader in their school and their community. As a Say Yes school, Marion-Sterling has strong ties with multiple businesses and organizations who give their resources and time to meet their scholars’ diverse needs. The Sisters of Charity Health System works with Marion-Sterling and its students and families with the goals of reducing absenteeism, increasing student engagement, boosting academic outcomes, increasing positive parenting education, and improving access to opportunities for children and families.
14. Care Alliance
Care Alliance provides high-quality, comprehensive medical and dental care, along with patient advocacy, referrals to addiction medicine and other health-related services, for people who need them most, regardless of their ability to pay.
15. St. Vincent Charity Mission Kitchen
St. Vincent Charity Mission Kitchen provides food, care, clothing and support to Central neighborhood residents at the William Patrick Day building twice a month and to the Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry Men’s Shelter on Lakeside Avenue in Cleveland.
16. Joseph & Mary’s Home
Joseph & Mary’s Home offers healing, housing and hope to adults experiencing homelessness who have serious health issues. It is Northeast Ohio’s first and only medical respite—a warm, safe environment where each person can safely recuperate from an illness, surgery or injury. Joseph & Mary’s Home includes a 10-bed facility for women and an 11-bed facility for men, offering private rooms, nutritious meals, medication management and connection to resources to stabilize each resident’s health and help them transition to housing.
17. A Place 4 Me (possible location)
A Place 4 Me is on a mission to prevent and end youth homelessness in Cuyahoga County. A Place 4 Me centers on the idea that all youth will have a place, especially those with high risk of homelessness. This includes young people who are transitioning from the foster care system. A Place 4 Me is an initiative that coordinates the planning and implementation of local efforts, including help with housing, employment, education, permanency, physical and mental health, financial capability and social capital.
18. Cuyahoga Community College
Located near downtown Cleveland in the Campus District, the Tri-C Metro Campus offers state-of-the-art health careers labs, is home to the nationally-renowned Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland, and features industry-standard learning facilities in programs such as Recording Arts and Technology, Nursing, Emergency Medical Technology and Electronic/Electrical Engineering.
19. East Technical High School
East Tech High School is another Sisters of Charity Health System focus school that’s located in Cleveland’s Central neighborhood under the operation of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. It is a comprehensive coed high school that was the first public trade school in the Greater Cleveland area and one of only five technical high schools in the country when it opened in 1908.
