Marisa Rohn is chief program officer (CPO) for the Sisters of Charity Health System and also serves as president of the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Canton. As CPO for the Health System, Marisa oversees five Northeast Ohio ministries and works to build programming and partnerships that serve the Cleveland Central neighborhood through the St. Vincent Charity Health & Healing Hub.
In her role as Foundation president, Marisa helps fulfill the mission of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine by partnering with and providing funding to organizations that serve the poor and underserved in Stark County and surrounding communities. The Foundation focuses on the areas of early childhood, homelessness and behavioral health, while also responding to other community needs.
Prior to joining the Sisters of Charity, Marisa served as the vice president of advancement, human resources and partnerships for Stark State College, as well as executive director of the Stark State College Foundation. In her role, she focused on advancing Stark State College’s image and reputation locally, nationally and internationally, while working to enhance philanthropic and workforce relationships and monetary support for both the college and the Stark State College Foundation. For the college, Marisa oversaw human resources, advancement, strategic grants, marketing, strategic partnerships, career services and workforce training.
Previously, Marisa served as the vice president of marketing and fund development at Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio, Inc. for nearly 12 years.
She was named a member of The Repository’s 2013 Twenty Under 40! class and is a graduate of the 23rd class of Leadership Stark County. Marisa is active in the community, including roles with Stark Housing Network Board as treasurer, Early Childhood Resource Center Board, Stark Affordable Housing Advisory Committee and ConnectWell CIE East Central Ohio’s Leadership Committee.
She holds an MBA with a concentration in marketing as well as a bachelor’s degree in corporate communications with a minor in Spanish from Walsh University. She also holds a certificate in fundraising management from Indiana University School of Philanthropy.
As the program director for the Cleveland Central Promise Neighborhood program since early 2025, Catondra Noye has been leading the transition of the program’s work to focus on addressing the social drivers of health (SDOH) for the residents of Cleveland’s Central neighborhood. Key aspects of the program include supporting PreK-8th grade students and their families at Marion-Sterling elementary school, investing in neighborhood-wide programming and measuring effectiveness. Her efforts center on collaborating with partners to develop and implement strategies that encourage a healthy and thriving community.
Catondra has extensive experience in community building and planning as a community-focused leader with organizations around the country. Most recently, she held the position of assistant executive director at Fairfax Renaissance Development Corporation in Cleveland. There, she was responsible for planning and implementing policies, implementing community-enhancing programming, securing grant funding, developing budgets and more. Previously, she was manager of strategic planning and development for the VIA Metropolitan Transit Authority in San Antonio, Texas, and mass transit administration planning manager for the District Department of Transportation, Washington D.C.
The Cleveland Central Promise Neighborhood program brings together multiple partners from philanthropy, residents, community service providers and schools. As a collective community impact initiative, Promise works to improve outcomes for children, families and the community. It is a program of the Sisters of Charity Health System.
Michael J. Goar serves as the president & CEO of the Sisters of Charity Health System. He is steering the Cleveland-based, Catholic health system into a new era of service, with a particular focus on developing the Health & Healing Hub in Cleveland’s Central neighborhood.
With more than 25 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit and education sectors, Michael previously served as president and CEO of Catholic Charities of St. Paul-Minneapolis. There, he collaborated with the board to create a strategic plan, identify new revenue streams and establish a $50 million reserve fund.
Before that, he was the CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters in the Twin Cities, where he led a $10 million capital campaign and expanded the organization’s reach from 2,000 to 4,500 children. Michael began his career in education, spending 20 years in various roles within the Minneapolis Public School system, as well as working in the Memphis and Boston public school systems. As interim superintendent and CEO of Minneapolis Public Schools, he launched four community partnership schools, reduced administrative overhead by $11.5 million and successfully negotiated teacher contracts.
In Boston, as deputy superintendent and COO, he streamlined operations, closed a $60 million budget gap and engaged extensively with community partners. In Memphis, as COO and associate superintendent of human resources and labor relations, he led a strategic plan to reduce operational costs, saving $2 million in transportation costs among other efficiencies.
Michael holds a master’s degree in public administration from Mankato State University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration and urban studies from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls. He has also earned leadership certificates from Harvard University and holds a superintendent’s license from the University of Minnesota.
