Hub 501c3

A Neighborhood Network for Hope and Healing
The St. Vincent Charity Health & Healing Hub is more than a concept—it’s a planned campus of care and collaboration for residents of Cleveland’s Central neighborhood and beyond. The Hub exists to create a healthier, stronger community by connecting people, programs and partners across shared goals.
The St. Vincent Charity Health & Healing Hub is designed to go beyond a collection of exceptional programs and initiatives—it’s a coordinated system for neighborhood well-being. To make this possible, the Hub requires a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity to serve as its official managing organization.

How the Hub 501(c)(3) Operates
Strengthening the Neighborhood Through Structure, Accountability and Collaboration
This structure provides the Hub with the organizational backbone needed to operate effectively and sustainably. As a 501(c)(3), the Hub can:
- Apply for grants and funding from local, state and national sources to directly support neighborhood priorities.
- Serve as the fiscal agent for collaborative projects, managing shared budgets, contracts and reporting.
- Coordinate community partners to ensure programs are aligned and not duplicated—maximizing every dollar invested.
- Ensure resident voice and leadership through a community-led board structure, where local residents, businesses and partners all have seats at the table.
- Foster accountability and transparency through nonprofit governance and financial oversight.
Establishing the Hub’s 501(c)(3) ensures that this work is not just visionary—but viable. It allows us to receive and manage charitable donations, public and private grants, and corporate partnerships responsibly.
